About the roleMater Private Hospital Mackay are seeking experienced and passionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Casual Nursing Pool.Education and training opportunities are available, as well as flexible shift opportunities.
However, candidates must be available towork all shift typesacross a 24/7 roster, including early, late, night, and weekend shifts.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour + Casual loading +Superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doingAs an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty.
Whilst displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of careDemonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding careImplementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provisionWorking collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every timeMaintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growthAbout youYou will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding environment where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care.Ideally, you will have prior nursing experience, but graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.To be successful in this position,



you will have the following:Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)Prior experience as an Enrolled Nurse in General Surgery or another similar field would be highly desiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with avariety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levelsDemonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsCommitment to ensuring the levels of service is delivered to patients at all timesWhy join us?
