Part-Time Massage Therapist – Clinic & Community WorkFocus on Physio is seeking a Part-Time Massage Therapist to join our growing teams in Benowa and Southport.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services in both our clinic setting and community-based service.
As a part-time position, this role offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and wellbeing.
You'll work alongside our multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and allied health professionals, contributing to our commitment to holistic patient care and recovery.Key responsibilitiesDeliver professional massage therapy treatments to clients in both clinic and community settingsConduct thorough client assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient recordsCommunicate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated careProvide clients with advice on self-care, stretching and lifestyle modifications to support treatment outcomesMaintain a clean, safe and professional treatment environmentBuild and maintain robust relationships with clients to ensure positive therapeutic experiencesParticipate in continuing professional development and stay current with best practice in massage therapyWhat we're looking forCurrent registration or qualification as a massage therapist recognised in AustraliaDemonstrated experience in therapeutic massage within a clinical or healthcare settingStrong knowledge of anatomy,



physiology and musculoskeletal conditionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamProfessional and empathetic approach to client careAbility to maintain detailed and accurate clinical recordsCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationWorking With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or willingness to obtain oneExperience in community health programmes or aged care settings is highly desirableKnowledge of evidence-based practice in manual therapy and rehabilitationWhat we offerFocus on Physio is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
