Foxdog Distillery & Brewery is looking for capable, reliable and enthusiastic Chefs/Cooks to join the kitchen team.
These casual positions offer approximately ***** hours per week, depending on experience and availability.Key responsibilitiesPreparing and cooking menu items to Foxdog's recipes and presentation standardsWorking across different sections of the kitchen as requiredCompleting daily food preparation and service tasksMaintaining quality, consistency and portion controlPreparing pizza dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredientsStretching, topping and cooking pizzas consistentlyManaging preparation levels before and during serviceAssisting with weddings, functions and special eventsMonitoring ingredients and communicating stock requirementsFollowing food safety, hygiene and workplace safety proceduresAbout youPrevious experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchenA Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience, where applicablePrevious pizza preparation and cooking experience, which is highly desirableStrong food preparation and cooking skillsGood organisation and time managementThe ability to work efficiently and consistently during high-volume servicesA calm and reliable approach under pressureA sound understanding of food safety and kitchen hygieneReliability, initiative and a positive attitudeAvailability across a adaptable hospitality roster,
