With our Maddington Plant continuing to grow, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our team.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Trade Assistant with solid heavy vehicle knowledge or pre-delivery experience to join our New Truck Pre-Delivery Team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on role working on new Volvo, Mack and UD trucks before they are delivered to customers.
You will work alongside our experienced trades team and play an important role in making sure every truck is prepared to the highest standard.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assisting with current truck fit-ups and installationsSupporting warranty campaign workAssisting with pre-delivery servicing of new Volvo, Mack and UD vehiclesPreparing vehicles and components for customer deliveryAssisting tradespeople with general workshop and mechanical tasksFollowing technical instructions and manufacturer requirementsMaintaining a clean,



safe and organised work environment About You We're looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and takes pride in their work.
To be considered, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a mechanical workshop, heavy vehicle or vehicle body-building environment (essential)A strong commitment to health and safetyExcellent attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructionsA positive, proactive attitudeThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesHR and Forklift licences are highly desirable, but not essential Most importantly, you'll be someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in delivering quality work.
