We are recruiting a Deputy Service Leader.
This is a newly created position, established to provide consistent leadership across the service.

Our success starts with exceptional people, and we're committed to supporting you at every step.This is a permanent, part-time Deputy Service Leader role offering 27.5 hours per week, consisting of split shifts in the mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday, plus set up time.
You'll have a meaningful chance to lead with compassion, offering top-tier support to children and their families.You will be responsible for:Leading and supporting a team of dedicated Educators at your serviceBuilding strong relationships with families and the school communityEnsuring compliance with NQF standards and TASK policiesWorking closely with your Service Manager, supporting and assisting with administrative dutiesRunning the service end to end and stepping up as Responsible Person when your Service Manager is not on siteCreating a fun, inclusive, and enriching environment for childrenWhy you'll love this role:A brand new position, so you'll shape how it worksMake a real impact.

You have:Substantial leadership experience in a childcare setting, preferably OSHCConfidence running a service end to end, and the ability to cover the Service Manager role when they are off siteA Certificate III (or higher) in Children's Services, Education, or a related field is preferredA valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis trainingCurrent child protection trainingA commitment to putting child safety and families firstProfessional development and growth opportunities.
