You must be comfortable working with multiple clients across various locations and adapting to different care needs.Key responsibilitiesAssistance with personal care (showering, toileting, hygiene), meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasksSupporting community access, transport to appointments, shopping, going to the gym, fishing, or simply grabbing a coffeeManual handling, hoisting, seizure monitoring, and complex care (where qualified and competent)Writing accurate progress notes, documenting incident reports, and strictly following Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), de-escalation,



and trauma-informed careSupport for psychosocial disability, Autism, ABI, Dementia, or Mental HealthManual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding, catheter/bowel care, or epilepsy managementAbout youNDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue CardCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificationValid Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicleRelevant qualifications (Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Mental Health preferred) or equivalent hands-on experienceProfessional & Boundary-Focused: Able to build warmth and rapport while maintaining clear, strict skilled boundaries and respecting privacyNon-Judgemental & Respectful: Meets participants where they are without imposing personal beliefs, lifestyle choices, or valuesDependable & Accountable: Arrives on time, values consistency, accepts feedback gracefully, and follows instructionsSafety & Escalation Aware: Balances non-judgemental care with a strong understanding of duty of care, safeguarding, and knowing when to report risksAdaptable: Eager and flexible enough to support diverse clients across multiple locations and regions
