Automotive Equipment Industry | Full-Time Opportunity | Vehicle Provided.
Up to $37 p/h + company vehicle.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join the service team of an established business operating within the automotive equipment industry.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills and experience while working alongside experienced technicians.
About the Role n
As a Trade Assistant, you will provide essential support to technicians carrying out service, repair and installation work on automotive workshop equipment, including wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment.
n
You'll work across a variety of customer sites and play an important role in ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n

Assisting technicians with service, repair and installation work
n
Preparing work areas, tools, equipment and materials for jobs
n
Loading, unloading, moving and positioning equipment and parts
n
Assisting with the installation and servicing of workshop equipment
n
Carrying out basic mechanical and hands-on tasks within your level of training and competency
n
Keeping tools, vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and organised
n
Assisting with packing up and cleaning customer sites after jobs are completed
n
Supporting technicians to complete jobs safely and efficiently
n
Assisting with parts, stock and materials
n




Following all WHS requirements and safe work practices
n
Maintaining a professional and respectful approach when working at customer sites
n
About You n
We're looking for someone who is:

Hands-on, practical and mechanically minded
n
Reliable, punctual and committed to getting the job done
n
Physically capable of moving tools, equipment and parts
n
Safety conscious and willing to follow safe work practices
n
Comfortable working across different customer sites
n
Able to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
n
Organised and takes pride in keeping tools and work areas tidy
n
Professional and respectful when dealing with customers
n
Keen to learn and develop trade and technical skills
n
n
Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, engineering, construction or trade environment will be highly regarded, however, it is not essential. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
