Project Engineer – Asphalt | Transport for NSW n

$1,000 per day + Super

Government contract until 30 April ****

Full-time hours - 40 hours per week
n
Based in Russell Vale, NSW, with regular site travel
n
Transport vehicle provided for work-related travel

About the Role n
Working within Transport for NSW, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering asphalt roadworks and maintenance projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget and project deadlines are achieved.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Manage asphalt roadworks and maintenance projects from planning through to completion.
n
Oversee contractors and ensure projects meet time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
n
Prepare project briefs, cost estimates, technical specifications and contract documentation.
n
Coordinate investigations, designs, procurement and construction activities.
n
Monitor project progress, budgets, resources and contractor performance.
n
Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal TfNSW teams.
n




Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards.
n
About You Essential Requirements n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
n
Previous experience delivering civil infrastructure or road construction projects.
n
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
n
Construction White Card.
n
Willingness to obtain a Traffic Control ticket.
n
Ability to work onsite five days per week and travel between multiple project sites.
n
Willingness to complete mandatory TfNSW Working on Foot (WOF) requirements prior to commencement.
n
Highly Desirable n
n
Previous experience in asphalt construction, resurfacing or road maintenance projects.
n
Experience working with Transport for NSW, local councils or other government road authorities.
n
Solid contractor management, project delivery and stakeholder engagement skills.
