The Role
n
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee our manufacturing operations in Woodridge, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role will be responsible for leading and supervising electrical and mechanical assembly activities within the workshop and managing installation teams during site-based works.

Responsibilities
n

Supervise daily operations of the electrical workshop, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
n
Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
n
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
n
Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
n




Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
n
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and work practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
n
Prepare reports on workshop performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Selection Criteria
n
n
Electrical Cert or equivalent qualification relevant
n
Cert IV in leadership and management or equivalent supervisory training (desirable)
n
Experience with PLC-based control systems and instrumentation (desirable)
n
High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
n
Previous experience within the water treatment industry is highly regarded (desirable)
n
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
n
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
n
Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions.
n
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
Proficiency in using workshop management software and tools.
