Key responsibilities n

Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
n
Setting up and preparing surgeries for procedures
n
Cleaning and turning over rooms between patients
n
Infection control and sterilisation
n
Taking digital X-rays, clinical photographs and scans where trained
n
Preparing instruments and materials for procedures
n
Restocking surgeries and monitoring clinical supplies
n
Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day
n
Working collaboratively with dentists, other dental assistants and reception
n
Helping create a warm, professional experience for every patient
n
About you n
n
At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a busy general dental Practice.
n
Friendly, positive and professional
n
Reliable and committed to their rostered shifts
n
Calm and organized in a busy environment
n
A genuine team player who is happy to help others
n
Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
n
Focused on high standards of infection control and patient care
n




A clear and respectful communicator
n
Dental assisting experience is preferred, particularly in a busy general dental practice
n
Experience with Core Practice, digital X-rays, OPG/CBCT, intraoral scanning and CEREC milling would be highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person
