1st Year Flooring Apprentice
to join our growing installation team.
n
We are looking for a committed, hardworking and reliable individual who is keen to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the flooring industry.
n
This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced flooring tradespeople while gaining hands‐on experience across a wide range of flooring products and installation techniques.
About the Role n
As a Flooring Apprentice, you will be involved in the preparation and installation of a variety of floor coverings across both residential and commercial projects.
n
You will have the opportunity to develop skills across:
n
n
Carpet installation
n
Vinyl plank and sheet vinyl installation
n
Engineered timber flooring
n
Subfloor preparation
n
Floor levelling and preparation techniques
n
Removal of existing floor coverings
n
Installation of trims, profiles and finishing products
n
Working safely and professionally on residential and commercial sites
n
n
You will work alongside experienced flooring tradespeople who will provide practical training and guidance as you develop your skills throughout your apprenticeship.
About You n
We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Has a genuine interest in learning a skilled trade
n
Is physically fit and comfortable with hands‐on work
n
Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
Takes pride in their work and presentation
n




Is willing to listen, learn and follow instructions
n
Can work effectively as part of a team
n
Is comfortable working in different environments and on different job sites
n
Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Holds a current driver's licence
n
n
Previous experience in construction, flooring, building or a trade environment would be advantageous, but
is not essential
. Most importantly, we are looking for the right attitude and someone who is willing to learn.
