The role
n Based in Melbourne, you'll look after day-to-day accounting and reporting, working closely with the leadership team as the business grows. It's a broad, hands-on role with plenty of variety and room to put your stamp on things.
What you'll be doing
n
n
Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements and management reports
n
Running month-end: journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Preparing BAS, IAS and other compliance lodgements
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
n
Assisting with audit preparation and ad hoc finance requests
n
Keeping finance systems and processes accurate and up to date
n
What you'll bring
n

A degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
n
CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it
n
3-5 years' accounting experience (commercial or public practice)
n
Good working knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements
n
Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar, plus solid Excel skills
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
n
Explicit communication and a collaborative approach
n
