HealthX is recruiting Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for casual opportunities across home care services in Ipswich Queensland

Pay rate:
Casual rates from $***** to $***** per hour, with generous penalty rates up to $****** per hour for public holiday shifts.

About the Rolen
As a Home Care Personal Care Assistant, you will support Registered Nurses and the wider Clinical Care Team in delivering high-quality, person-centred palliative care within the home setting.
Key Responsibilitiesn
n
Assist clients with activities of daily living
n
Provide direct care within clients' homes with remote clinical oversight available 24/7
n
Support mobility,



transfers, pressure area care, oral and mouth care
n
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and clinicians
n
Maintain client dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
n
Follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and documentation requirements
n
Respond appropriately to unexpected changes in client condition
n
About You – What We're Looking Forn
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Availability to work on a casual basis
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
n
Certificate III in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance, Aged Care, or a related qualification
n
Previous experience in community care, aged care, disability support, oncology, palliative care, or a healthcare setting
n
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centred approach to care
n
A current driver's license and reliable vehicle
n
Must have Australian full working rights
n
