Due to continued growth, we are looking for a
Fire Equipment Service Technician
to join our Melbourne team.
The Prospect n
This role focuses on the inspection, testing and maintenance of
portable fire equipment
in accordance with AS****.
n
Experience is highly regarded — but
not essential
.
n We are happy to train the right person who is motivated, reliable and eager to learn a trade.
n
This is a fantastic entry pathway into the fire protection industry.
What You'll Be Doing n
Working as part of our service team, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Servicing and testing fire extinguishers and fire blankets
n
Inspecting fire hose reels and basic hydrant systems
n




Completing routine essential services testing in line with AS****
n
Recording results and submitting compliance reports via our digital systems
n
Providing great customer service while on client sites
n
Working safely and following OH&S; procedures
n
n
No two days are the same — you'll be visiting a variety of buildings across Melbourne.
About You n
We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and self-motivated
n
Practical and enjoys hands-on work
n
Friendly and professional with clients
n
Organised and able to work independently
n
Keen to learn and build a long-term career
n
Requirements n
n
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
n
Australian working rights
n
Good communication skills
n
Experience in fire protection (advantage, not essential)
n
Trade or technical background (advantage, not essential)
n
