We are looking for passionate graduates who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat, to join our one-year Graduate Program at our
Canberra
office.
n
You'llwork with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting your clients on their journey to return to work and return to life after physical or psychological injury.
n
Our Graduate Program will provide you with a well-rounded knowledge base with fortnightly technical training to accelerate your career, with 1-1 mentorship from a senior clinician along the way to make sure you are supported as you learn.
n
Everyday can look different at APM... butas a Graduate Occupational Therapist,you will be:
n
n
Completing office-based and vehicle ergonomic assessments
n
Activities of Daily Living assessments for equipment or household services prescription
n
Conducting worksite assessments to interpret the physical demands and environment your client may work in and to understand what duties they can complete to achieve their short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
n
Completing
functionalcapacityevaluations
n
Collaborating with other health practitioners (including other Allied Health
professionals,GPsand
Surgeons) through case conferencing
n
Organisingrehabilitation
activities for your client incl. Pilates, Hydrotherapy, etc.
n
Reviewing
andanalysingmedicalreportse.g.MRIs,
X-Rays, etc.
n
