Like working with real machinery and seeing every job through from the workshop to the truck? FarmTech Machinery is looking for a hands-on Dispatch Storeperson to join our team in Wodonga.
The role
n
This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. You'll run the despatch of whole goods and parts — making sure every machine and order leaves the yard checked, complete and on time.
n
Prepare and check whole goods for dispatch, and carry out final inspections
n
Assemble small goods before shipment
n
Load and unload trucks safely by forklift or telehandler
n
Quote and book freight with carriers, supporting and covering for the Dispatch Coordinator as required.
n
Receive, check and unpack incoming goods, including shipping containers
n
Coordinate freight for field days and events
n
Keep the dispatch area clean, organised and safe
About you
n
Experience in dispatch,



warehousing or logistics — agricultural or machinery experience is a big plus
n
HR truck licence (highly regarded, would attract higher end of the band)
n
Mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach
n
A sharp eye for detail and pride in doing the job right
n
Good computer and communication skills for freight quotes and bookings
n
Happy to work independently and as part of a tight team
n
