About The Role n
full-time, Monday through Friday role based in the
Perth CBD
for an established company on a
12-months' contract
. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the
detailed engineering design of substation packages
. The role involves designing and integrating High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems to ensure reliability, performance, and quality-of-supply requirements are met while delivering cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities n
n
Performing detailed engineering of substations and switchrooms
n
Specifying and providing technical input to selection of HV and LV system
n
Establishment and continued updating of technical design standards
n
Integration of HV and LV systems, protection systems into a fully functional system
n
Design and documentation for cabling, lighting and lightning calculations
n




Testing and commissioning of substations and switchrooms
n
Skills/Requirements
n
n
Electrical Engineering Qualification
n
Detailed design engineering experience Protection systems and fault analysis
n
Experience in the use of electrical wiring databases
n
Solid knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Electrical)
n
Good understanding of the balance between technical and commercial outcomes
n
Proficient use of Microsoft Office
