This merger marks a significant step in strengthening Australia's civil infrastructure supply chain by combining the expertise and capabilities of two of the most recognised names in precast and civil concrete manufacturing.The RoleCivilmart are seeking an organised and proactiveTransport Despatch Customer Service Coordinatorto commence at ourToowoomba (QLD)precast manufacturing facility on apermanent fulltime basis,working between the hours of7:00am and 3:00pm.This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the provision of products to ensure their timely distribution along with providing exceptional customer service with regard to sales order status and quoting.The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the manufacturing or construction industry and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.Key Responsibilities:Call customers to coordinate delivery timesCoordinate transport carriers and couriersBook freight and plan delivery allocationsRaise orders for transport and verify invoices chargesCoordinate despatch forklift operators in daily yard activitiesObtain freight quotes when requiredIssue picking sheets to forklift drivers and complete invoicesCoordinate all incoming materials and goods to branchesManage site inventory and stocktakeAssist the customer service team as requiredAssist in the physical loading and unloading of trucksThe successful applicant will have:Experience working in the manufacturing/industrial industryExcellent communication, organisation, and time management skillsForklift Licence (desirable)Qualifications in transport, logistics or supply chain (desirable)Strong focus and awareness of safety procedures and protocolsSafety & ComplianceAt Civilmart, safety is our highest priority.
