We are an established sheet metal manufacturing business located in Dandenong South, looking for a reliable and hardworking Sheet Metal Labourer to join our small, friendly team of six. We have long-term contracts with major electricity suppliers Australia-wide, providing an excellent level of ongoing work and job security.
Key responsibilities n
n
Sanding and grinding light-gauge sheet metal and aluminium
n
Preparing and finishing sheet metal components
n
General workshop and labouring duties
n
Assisting our experienced team with manufacturing work
n
Keeping the workshop clean, secure and organised
n
About you n
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
n




Keen to learn and develop new skills
n
Able to work well as part of a small team
n
Takes pride in their work
n
Has a good attitude and strong work ethic
n
Previous experience in sheet metal, fabrication, sanding or grinding would be an advantage, but we are willing to train the right person
n
n
$30 - $35 per hour + Super
n
Regular overtime available at time and a half
n
Permanent part-time can be negotiated for the right person
n
