O'Keeffe Group is looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in South Melbourne. This is a role where you can work closely with clients, develop your technical skills and have genuine opportunities to grow.
Key responsibilities n
Preparing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
n
Preparing financial statements and BAS
n
Managing a portfolio of clients
n
Providing taxation and accounting advice
n
Liaising with clients and the ATO
n
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory
n
Managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work
About you n
Previous Australian public practice experience
n
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation
n
Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar software
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Robust communication and client relationship skills
n
A proactive attitude & willingness to learn
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
