, we're growing our dedicated installation teams with a focus on quality workmanship, safety and great customer service.

As part of a two-person team, you'll support solar and battery installations, servicing and maintenance—building practical skills and seeing the results of your work every day.
n

Hands-on mentoring:
Learn alongside an experienced A-Grade Electrician who takes pride in doing the job right.
n
Solar and battery experience:
Build valuable skills through installations, servicing and maintenance.
n
Apprenticeship support:
For existing apprentices, support for your ongoing apprenticeship and required training.
n
Competitive pay + super:
Above award remuneration based on your experience and apprenticeship stage, where applicable.

Monday to Friday:
Enjoy your weekends with no weekend work.

Variety and regional travel:
Work across Albury/Wodonga and surrounding regions, with travel away approximately one week per month. Accommodation and meal expenses are covered.

Be part of our dedicated in-house installation team.
n

Working alongside our qualified electrician, you'll:
n
n
Assist with solar and battery installations, including site preparation, material handling and equipment setup.
n
Help position and secure mounting equipment and solar panels, following secure work procedures.
n
Support servicing and maintenance jobs with tools, materials and general site assistance.
n
Keep job sites, tools and the work vehicle tidy and organised.
n
Help complete digital job records and site documentation.
n
Provide friendly, respectful customer service on every job.
n

You'll be either:
n
n
A
current 2nd or 3rd year electrical apprentice
willing to transfer your apprenticeship to Smart Energy; or
n
A
labourer or trade assistant
with relevant labouring, construction or trade experience.
n
n
You'll also have:
n
n
A genuine interest in solar, batteries and renewable energy.
n
A White Card and valid Australian driver's licence.
n
Working at Heights certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
n
A safety-first attitude and confidence working outdoors and at heights.
n
The ability to carry out physical work and handle tools and materials safely.
n
Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn.
n
Pride in your work and the ability to work closely with a teammate.
n
Willingness to travel for regional jobs approximately one week per month.
n
