Gympie Specialist Clinic is a private, stand-alone practice in the heart of Gympie, providing modern, purpose-built consulting rooms for visiting and permanent Specialists and Allied Health professionals.

We pride ourselves on personal patient care, whilst supporting our visiting Specialists and Allied Health professionals.
About This Opportunity n
We're seeking a reliable and proactive Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients, making sure everyone feels welcome and well looked after from the moment they arrive.
n
As part of a small team, you'll enjoy real variety in your role, supporting our patients and the Specialists and Allied Health professionals who consult from our rooms.
n
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
n
n
Providing a warm, professional welcome to all patients and visitors
n
Managing appointments and enquiries in person, by phone and by email
n




Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
n
Processing billing, Medicare claims and patient payments
n
Liaising with GPs, referrers and Specialists to obtain and follow up referrals and medical information
n
Supporting our visiting Specialists and Allied Health professionals so their clinics run smoothly
n
Maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
n
About You n
Polite, warm and compassionate
n
A "can do" attitude
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Reliable and organised
n
Confident computer skills and a willingness to learn
n
Previous medical or health care experience is desirable, but not essential
