to join our team in Port Macquarie.

We are offering a consistent
5-day-per-week position
, responsible for the end-of-day or end-of-shift deep cleaning of our bakery production facilities, kitchen equipment, retail area and staff spaces.

nKey responsibilities n

Perform thorough end-of-day or end-of-shift cleaning of bakery production areas and facilities.
n
n
n
Deep-clean kitchen equipment, workbenches, preparation areas and food-contact surfaces in accordance with cleaning procedures.
n
n
n
Clean and sanitise floors, walls, sinks and other surfaces as required.
n
n
n
Maintain the cleanliness of the retail area,



customer spaces, staff areas and amenities.
n
n
n
Follow established cleaning schedules and food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
n
n
n
Safely use commercial cleaning products and equipment in accordance with instructions.
n
n
n
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored appropriately.
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Complete cleaning duties efficiently and consistently to ensure the premises are ready for the next trading or production day.
n
n
n
nSkills and experience n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
n
n
n
Previous professional cleaning experience is essential
, preferably in a commercial kitchen, bakery, café, food production or similar environment.
n
n
n
A strong understanding of cleaning, sanitisation and hygiene standards.
n
n
n
Knowledge of safe handling and use of commercial cleaning chemicals.
n
n
n
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
n
n
n
The ability to work independently, manage time effectively and follow cleaning checklists.
n
n
n
A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
n
n
n
The ability to work in a busy food production environment and carry out physically demanding cleaning duties, including standing, bending and lifting as required.
n
n
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
n
n
n
Experience working in a food manufacturing or food-handling environment will be highly regarded.
n
