About the role
n
We are looking for a Commis Chef to amaze the patrons of our establishments with excellent creativity, culinary skills, recipes and specifications. Your work will be an important factor to a client's contentment, and overall success and smooth running of our kitchens. The ultimate goal is to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success. Day to day can include:
n
Preparing,



cooking and presenting dishes according to the customer demand.
n
Following, and ensuring the team follows, food hygiene and occupational health and safety measures.
n
Taking care with portions and waste to ensure profits remain positive.
n
Preparing menus in collaboration with management.
n
Ensuring adequacy of supplies at the venue.
n
Preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
n
About you
n
Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery.
n
Minimum 3 years kitchen experience.
n
Ability to lead and manage a team.
n
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
n
Experience with rostering, ordering and cogs management.
n
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
n
Excellent attention to detail.
n
Positive attitude (MUST).
n
