About the opportunity n
Full-Time Permanent Roles (38 hours/week)

$*****/h 3 months training period - $*****/h ongoing once completing training
n
Monday to Friday
n
4 weeks paid leave – 17.5% leave loading on holidays

About the role n
Reporting to the Factory Manager, Yard Hands in our team play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient movement of steel products in the factory.



The key focus of this role to operate forklifts, assist with loading trucks and manage pick-packing tasks within the factory.

More specifically, you will:
n
n
Safely operate a forklift to move steel around the yard and the factory
n
Manual handling, including 2-person lifts and general stacking
n
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
n
Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks
n
Maintain a clean and organised work workplace
n
About you n
You will demonstrate:
n
n
Excellent work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual
n
Experience with forklifts in a manufacturing environment, ideally as a Yard Hand.
n
Hold a valid forklift licence
n
Comfortable with high volume, repetitive work
n
Available to work Monday to Friday – 38 hours a week
n
