Night Auditor to join us on a full-time or part-time basis

As a Night Auditor, you will play a key role in our overnight operations, creating a warm and personalised experience for our guests while ensuring accurate night audit procedures and a smooth handover to the morning team. In the absence of management, you will help maintain the safety and security of our guests, team members and hotel at all times.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewell to our early departures.
n
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
n
Taking initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with our customers.
n
Undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel's trading, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits, and collating the necessary paperwork for departures.
n
Prepare and distribute relevant reports to relevant departments.
n
Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guest details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
n
Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure by checking in and out guests as required.
n




Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
n
Attending to guests' requests efficiently and effectively to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Qualifications n
n
n
The must-haves:
n
n
Be a night owl who enjoys working with a team
n
Exceptional customer service & communication skills
n
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
n
A hands-on team player with a can-do attitude
n
Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily
n
Willingness to take ownership and have the initiative to carry out different tasks as required
n
A good understanding of finance and accounting practices
n
The ability to coordinate multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
n
Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
n
Knowledge of Opera Cloud is a bonus
n
Full Tasmanian Drivers License
n
An ability to work 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and the flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays
n
