We are an established and growing Australian food manufacturing business seeking an experienced and highly organized
Accounts Payable Officer
to join our office team.
n
This is an important hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, has strong attention to detail and is confident communicating with customers and Suppliers regarding accounts and payments.
n
You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team in a busy working environment where reliability, accuracy and a positive attitude are genuinely valued.
About the Role Your responsibilities will include: n
n
Managing accounts payable and supplier accounts
n
Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and payment runs accurately and on time.
n
Reconciling supplier statements, resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to accounts payable queries.
n
Maintaining accurate supplier records
n
Supporting week-end activities, reporting requirements.
n
General accounts and administrative duties as required.
n
You may also be required to: n
n
Call Customers for orders and accurately process their orders via phone and or email
n
Handle incoming phone enquiries and emails
n
Have a well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
n
Provide administration support as required
n
Generate daily customer invoices
n
About You n

with a professional but personable approach to dealing with customers.
Ideally, you will have: n
n
Previous experience in Accounts Payable, or a similar accounts position
n
Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
The ability to prioritise and work independently in a busy environment
n
Experience with
QuickBooks Online
would be highly regarded
n
A practical, proactive approach and willingness to assist the wider team when required
n
