Developmental Educator - Early Childhood Intervention | South Coast n
You'll deliver early childhood intervention to children aged 0 to 9 and their families across the NSW South Coast, working from our Nowra or Batemans Bay clinic and out in homes, childcare centres, schools and the community. It's a new graduate role with a structured New Graduate Program, regular mentoring and supervision, and the choice of full-time or part-time hours.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING n
n
Delivering early childhood intervention services for children aged 0 to 9
n
Supporting children with developmental delay, autism, intellectual disability and other developmental needs
n
Developing and putting in place individualised intervention plans
n
Coaching parents and caregivers using a family-centred, capacity-building approach
n
Working with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals
n
Keeping accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant records
n
Attending multidisciplinary meetings, supervision and professional development
n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR n
You're a new graduate with an interest in paediatrics and early childhood development, committed to family-centred and evidence-based practice. You communicate confidently and can work independently while contributing to a team.

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Developmental Education, Disability Studies, Early Childhood Intervention, Special Education or a related discipline
n
Registration with Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current National Police Check
n
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
