Our Investments function is central to the group's long-term financial sustainability, and we're looking for an Investment Analyst to help shape what comes next.

The opportunity
n
Reporting to our Chief Investment Officer, you'll help build, manage and monitor a diversified multi-asset portfolio. Your analysis will be critical to the Investment Strategy and won't disappear into a pipeline. It shapes recommendations that go to the MD and Directors.

What you'll do
n
n
Partner with the CIO to develop and implement a long-term investment strategy aligned to group goals, liquidity needs and risk appetite
n
Deliver in-depth investment analysis, including valuation, performance attribution, scenario modelling and market research
n
Identify and evaluate new opportunities, external managers and financial products
n
Monitor portfolio performance and investment risk across market, credit, liquidity and operational exposures, including stress testing and sensitivity analysis
n
Work with Finance to produce high-quality reporting for the MD and Directors
n
Build solid relationships with fund managers, wealth advisers and other family offices, and with internal teams across finance, property and operations
n
Support negotiations with investment managers, brokers and financial institutions
n
Help bring AI tools into due diligence and everyday productivity
n

What you'll bring
n
n
5+ years' experience in investment management, portfolio construction and financial analysis, ideally with a fund manager or wealth adviser
n
Deep credit and equities investment expertise
n
Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
n
Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment products, including structured products
n
Demonstrated investment risk management capability, including stress testing and scenario analysis
n
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, and the judgement to balance risk with opportunity
n
Clear, executive-level written and verbal communication
n
Experience supporting negotiations and managing external investment relationships
n
High integrity and discretion, with a explicit understanding of confidentiality, conflict of interest and personal trading obligations
n

Highly regarded
n
n
Postgraduate qualifications in finance, economics or business
n
CFA, CA or CPA accreditation
n
Experience in a family office or private investment environment
n
Experience using AI or data tools for investment research and due diligence
n
