Registered Nurse for busy Skin Cancer / Medical Centre - GP practice.

Horizon Skin Cancer & Medical Centre is actively recruiting for a casual RN to join our dedicated team at our brand current purpose built practice at Forster.
n
We're looking for an experienced registered nurse with a passion for primary health care to be part of our growing practice. You will be part of a team that provides a holistic and dedicated approach to skin cancer diagnosis and treatment and comprehensive health care to the community.
n
In this role you will:
n
n
Comply with relevant Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines
n
Have responsibility for Cold Chain Management
n
Be responsible for reprocessing of reusable instruments
n
Maintain accurate documentation and manage recall/reminder systems, data and clinical software
n
Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
n




Deliver continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives through the review of systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accessible care
n
Provide excellent patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, careplans and health assessments
n
Assist with chronic disease management and deliver patient education
n
Assist with procedures
n
Collaborate seamlessly with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
n
n
What will you bring?
n
n
Current RN registration with APHRA
n
Previous experience in general practice or primary care is highly regarded
n
Strong communication skills with patient-focused approach
n
Proficiency in performing general practice nurse duties, including immunisations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checking
n
Experience with developing Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic disease management processes
n
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
n
Flexible availability to provide holiday cover when required
n
n
Experience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage.
n
