Afternoon shift, ongoing hours and no roster is required

Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of windows, doors, shower screens, wardrobes and related products.
n
Frontline is currently seeking a Afternoon Shift Maintenance Technician for our client based out in Rowville. You will need to be available for training on day shift for approx. 2-4 weeks 6am - 2pm then move to a 2pm to 10pm afternoon shift.

Work Afternoon shift - casual onging work
n
Your daily duties will consist of: n
n
Inspect machinery and mechanical systems for signs of wear or malfunction
n
Diagnose mechanical issues or breakdowns
n
Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, chains, bearings, seals, pumps, and valves
n
Start up and test machinery after maintenance
n
Liaise with production staff and supervisors regarding equipment performance
n
Diagnose mechanical issues or breakdowns
n
Other fitter related tasks
n
Essential skills and experience: n




n
Preferably min. 2 years experience in manufacturing setting / machinery break downs
n
Attending breakdowns, fault finding
n
Understanding of critical PM's and their importance
n
Welding / machining / fabrication
n
Ability to read and understand pneumatic / hydraulic drawings
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Qualifications required: n
n
Completed apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing environment. Ideally 2+ years' experience after being qualified.
n
Maintenanace Technician Preferably Electrician, but fitter with electrical knowledge reconnect / disconnect license would be strongly considered)
n
A trade qualification for an electrician is imperative
n
