Join the RAC Insurance Claims team and know you are making a genuine difference to the lives of our members! Our Claims Specialists are responsible for having telephone and online based conversations with our members when they need us most.
n
We have a full time position available on a Permanent basis and a 12month
Contract/Secondment
basis.
n
We offer attractive working hours which is structured as follows:
n
Week ********am – 3.30pm (West Perth Office based)
n
Week ********am – 5.00pm (Working from home)
On a daily basis you will be contributing by: n
n
Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation
n
Identify potential recovery action as part of effective claims management
n
Review quotes and authorise repair costs
n
Negotiate on settlements for claims
n
Act as a technical referral point for internal teams
n
Provide empathy, understanding whilst handling complex conversations
n
Consistently provide service that exceeds member's expectations
n
Identify continuous improvement initiatives
n

Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
n
Ability to gather,



collate and present evidence and make informed decisions
n
Ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our members
n
Results orientated mindset
n
Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomously
n
Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process desirable
n
Previous experience working within the financial services industry desirable
n
