Your Assignment n
We are seeking motivated and reliable full time AND casual Department Assistants to join our team at LaManna. As a Department Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Grocery team in the daily operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities: n
n
Team Leadership:
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
n
Operations Management:
Help maintain inventory levels, ensure merchandise displays are appealing, and manage stock rotation.
n
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
n
Sales Performance:
Collaborate with the Department Manager to meet sales targets, analyze trends, and implement strategies for increased profitability.
n
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
n
Your Attributes & Abilities n
n




Proven experience in similar position is advantageous for success
n
Experience with food handling, principles of stock rotation, in particular with perishables
n
Be able to provide information, advice and recommendations of store products
n
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
n
Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and sales strategies.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
n
Ability to prioritise workload
n
Ensure
policies/guidelines
are adhered to by employees
n
Keep a clean and organised workspace whilst adhering to our OHS and Food Safety guidelines
n
Be able to function and thrive in a fast-paced environment
