Design Manager - Developer Side / Hospitality Projects n
Our client is a successful and growing Australian property business with an established portfolio of hospitality assets and an expanding pipeline of new projects and refurbishments.

They are looking for an experienced Design Manager / Interior Designer / Architect to join their project delivery team and take a leading role in the design of hospitality environments from concept through to delivery.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the design process and wants to see their ideas progress from initial concept through to documentation and construction.
n
The Opportunity Working closely with internal property and project teams, you will:
n
n
Lead the design process across new-build, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
n
Develop and refine concepts that deliver engaging and commercially viable hospitality environments.
n
Take projects from concept through design development and detailed documentation.
n
Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and FF&E.;
n
Prepare and review drawings, 3D models, renders and presentation material.
n
Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.
n
Undertake site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is maintained.
n
Help develop and improve design standards, guidelines and internal processes.
n
Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality and programme.
n
Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across property, construction and operations.
n

Our client are looking for a creative, commercially minded and technically capable designer with around 6+ years' experience in architecture, interior design, hospitality or a similar environment.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Experience working across hospitality, retail, commercial interiors or other customer-focused environments.
n
Strong concept, spatial planning and design development skills.
n
Experience taking projects through to detailed documentation and delivery.
n
Strong Revit/AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
n
Experience with
rendering/visualisation
software such as Enscape, Lumion or similar.
n
A strong understanding of materials, finishes and FF&E.;
n
The ability to balance design quality with budget, programme and practical delivery requirements.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.
n
n
