About The Role n
Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced
Underground Electrical Superintendent
to support our Tuart underground operations.
n
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground power systems, ensuring reliability across current operations while supporting new site developments and electrical upgrades.
n
You will play a key role in driving safety, operational performance and continuous improvement across the electrical function.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Lead and manage underground electrical, instrumentation and control systems
n
Ensure reliable power supply to support production and minimise downtime
n
Oversee electrical installations, upgrades and infrastructure projects
n
Plan and execute shutdown strategies and maintenance schedules
n
Provide leadership and direction to site electrical teams
n
Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and site standards
n
Carry out duties as a Statutory Supervisor / Electrical Nominee
n
Work closely with production and technical teams to deliver operational outcomes
n




Support new projects and expansion activities across site
n
About You n
n
Electrical Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in underground mining
n
Proven leadership experience supervising electrical teams
n
Strong understanding of underground power systems and maintenance
n
Current Statutory Supervisor qualification (essential)
n
Ability to build relationships and influence across teams
n
Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills
n
