Manage established commercial maintenance contracts and deliver small-to-medium electrical projects for long-term clients across Melbourne.

nAbout the role n
n
Westwoods Electrical is looking for an experienced, reliable and organised Contracts / Project Manager to join our Service & Projects team.
n
n
The primary focus of the role will be managing a portfolio of established commercial clients and existing electrical maintenance contracts across Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas.
n
n
You will oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, reactive and ad-hoc electrical works, working closely with our service administration team who assist with scheduling, reporting and contract administration.
n
n
Depending on the requirements of the maintenance portfolio, the role will also involve managing small to medium electrical projects for our existing service clients.
n
n
These projects are predominantly within existing operational buildings and facilities rather than new construction, making the role well suited to someone with a robust service, maintenance or facilities electrical background.

nWhat you'll be doing n
n
n
n
Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of commercial clients.
n
n
Oversee the delivery of electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts.
n
n
Work closely with our administration team to coordinate recurring maintenance requirements.
n
n
Manage maintenance activities including:
n
n
n

n
n
RCD testing
n
n
Emergency and exit lighting testing
n
n
Thermographic inspections
n
n
Switchboard servicing
n
n
Electrical testing and compliance works
n
n
Coordinate specialist subcontractors for services including ACB testing, lightning protection testing, generator servicing and test & tag.
n
n
n
n
n
n
Respond to and manage reactive and ad-hoc client requests.
n
n
Attend sites, scope works and prepare quotations.
n
n
Manage labour allocation and coordinate electricians and subcontractors.
n
n
Ensure contractual maintenance requirements and client expectations are met.
n
n
Attend monthly meetings with clients
n
n
Identify and manage additional works arising from existing maintenance contracts.
n
n
Project manage small to medium electrical works for existing service clients, from quotation and planning through to completion.
n
n
Coordinate works within operational commercial buildings, working closely with clients, building management and other contractors.
n
n
Work as part of the broader Service & Projects team to deliver a high standard of customer service.
n

Strong experience within the electrical service, maintenance or facilities environment.
n
n
Experience managing clients, contracts and multiple concurrent works.
n
n
Electrical project management experience, particularly within existing operational buildings, would be highly regarded.
n
n
A strong understanding of planned preventative electrical maintenance.
n
n
Ability to scope and quote electrical works.
n
n
Solid organisational and scheduling skills.
n
n
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage jobs from quotation through to completion.
n
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
n
n
A practical, organised and team-oriented approach.
