Responsibilities

Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
n
Set stops and guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
n
Position work piece against stops or align layout marks with dye or blade.
n
Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
n
Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
n
Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.
n
Produce parts according to quality standards.
n
Use and setup safety equipment in assigned work center.
n
Able to reproduce all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
n
Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications n
n
n
Able to read tape measure
n
Able to read and understand blueprints
n
Ability to learn and operate various machines in Fabrication department
n
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
n
Able to work overtime as needed.
n
