We are partnering with a prominent Federal Government Department to recruit APS5 Investigations Officers and an APS6 Senior Investigations Officer for 12-month placements in Melbourne.

nWhat You'll Be Doing n

Working within a dedicated Compliance & Legal branch,



you will conduct complex regulatory and compliance investigations under federal legislation; gather evidence, record interviews, and draft comprehensive briefs of evidence.

Prepare transparent, concise investigation reports and executive briefings.
n
n
APS6 Level: Take the lead on complex matters, mentor junior staff, and provide high-level strategic support.
n
nWe Need From n

You Experience: Proven track record in compliance, regulation, or administrative law investigations.
n
n
Skills: Strong statutory interpretation skills and top-tier report writing.
n
nCitizenship & Security n
n
Australian Citizen with a Baseline Security Clearance and National Police Check.
n
n
Impartiality: Ability to sign a mandatory declaration maintaining strict political neutrality and public impartiality during your tenure.
