Working directly with the Managing Director, you'll take responsibility for operational performance across all divisions. You'll have the authority to lead, make decisions, implement systems and develop a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities n
Overseeing residential, commercial and specialist project delivery
n
Leading Project Managers, Leading Hands and field teams
n
Managing workforce scheduling, labour allocation and productivity
n
Driving project profitability, budgets and operational performance
n
Developing, implementing and refining systems, processes and SOPs to improve efficiency and scalability
n
Creating clear reporting structures, KPIs and accountability across the business
n
Developing and implementing staff retention strategies, including employee engagement, recognition, career development and succession planning
n
Building a positive, high-performance workplace culture that attracts, develops and retains exceptional people
n
Maintaining exceptional standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction
n
Supporting recruitment, staff development and long-term operational growth
About you n
Has successfully led sizeable teams across multiple projects or locations
n
Understands financial performance, labour costs and profitability
n




Has strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
n
Can confidently make decisions and manage competing priorities
n
Has experience developing people, improving employee engagement and implementing effective staff retention initiatives
n
Knows how to develop managers and build high-performing teams
n
Combines commercial awareness with exceptional communication and leadership skills
n
Takes ownership of outcomes and leads by example
n
Robust background in systemisation, process improvement and operational efficiency
n
Experience in painting, construction, maintenance or trade services is highly regarded

$120,000–$140,000 base salary + superannuation
