Your new role: n

Based at
Greentech Byron Bay
, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received from suppliers on time and undamaged, assisting with loading and unloading products and supporting various warehouse and branch activities as required.
n
n
This is a hands-on role within a busy branch where you'll work closely with a supportive, close-knit team and help keep the warehouse running smoothly day to day.
n
nYour key responsibilities will include: n
n
n
n
Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring items are properly packaged and ready for shipment.
n
n
Receive goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed.
n
n
Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time to support excellent customer service.
n
n
Load, unload and move stock safely around the warehouse.
n
n
Keep the warehouse organised, clean and presentable, adhering to safety standards.
n
n
Support customers and the wider branch team when needed.
n
n
Perform various ad-hoc duties around the branch to support smooth operations.
n
n
n
nWhatyou'llneed to succeed: n
n
While previous warehouse or storeperson experience would be advantageous, it isn't essential. More importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude – someone positive, proactive, dependable and willing to get stuck in. If you bring a strong work ethic and the right mentality, the rest can be taught.

To be successful in this position, you will:

Have a positive, proactive attitude and take pride in getting the job done properly.

Be excellent at managing your own time and a real 'self-starter'; you don't need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
n

Be able to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, in accordance with safe work practices.
n
n
Be more than happy to move around on your feet all day – this role can be physically demanding at times and requires someone fit with a "can-do" attitude!
n
n
Work well in a team and be prepared to jump in and help with customers when needed.
n
n
A forklift licence would be highly advantageous, while an MR or HR licence would also be highly regarded.
n
n
Have full Australian working rights with no restrictions – Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident, as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
