Shepparton Store - Full-Time Position n
An opportunity is available for an experienced Trade Sales Assistant Manager / Sales Representative to join the Timber Division at our Shepparton Mitre 10 store in Northern Victoria. This full-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic sales professional with experience in the building and trade industry who is ready to contribute to a friendly, highly successful company with 11 outlets across regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Support the Timber Manager in achieving the division's operational and sales goals
n
Identify and pursue new trade customer opportunities to drive business growth
n
Manage existing trade accounts, respond to customer needs and build lasting relationships
n
Process trade and retail sales across timber, hardware and other building products
n
Deliver high-quality service and support to our established customer base
n
Prepare accurate customer quotations and promptly follow up sales enquiries
n
Complete weekly stock counts for trade products
n
Order stock in line with customer demand
n
Accurately record incoming stock in the computer system
n




Deliver products to trade and DIY customers
n
Skills and Experience n
n
Trade sales experience and a strong customer-service focus
n
Solid knowledge of timber and related building products
n
Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with close attention to detail
n
Clear communication, excellent customer service and strong organisational skills
n
A proactive, positive attitude and solid self-motivation
n
Current manual driver's and forklift licences
n
Safe and effective manual-handling practices
n
Willingness to work a rotating weekend roster
n
