You'll be joining an established resources business working in a Finance team of four, you'll report to the Group Financial Controller and gain exposure across the wider Finance function.
You will be working for a robust leadership team that has created an workplace that is very supportive and where everyone pitches in.
It's a great opportunity to develop your technical and commercial experience within the resources sector, without joining a huge corporate Finance team where your responsibilities can be quite narrow.
You'll be involved in much more than financial reporting.
Alongside month-end, year-end and statutory accounts, you'll work across group consolidations, joint venture reporting, treasury, foreign exchange hedging and financial modelling.
You'll get 2-days WFH once you're up and running.
Your responsibilities: Managing month-end,



year-end and balance sheet reconciliations Preparing IFRS statutory financial statements and supporting external audits Consolidating international entities into the Australian accounts Preparing management and board reporting across group and joint venture entities Managing treasury activities and USD/AUD foreign exchange hedging Supporting export sales accounting, reconciliations and BAS compliance Contributing to life-of-mine valuation models and commercial projects Taking ownership of the mining-specific ERP system and helping maintain its effectiveness Who you are: You'll be a qualified accountant with solid financial accounting experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
You don't need to be an IFRS technical specialist.
We're looking for someone with sound accounting fundamentals, a willingness to learn, a team-oriented approach and the ambition to broaden their experience.
CA / CPA qualified (or very close to completion) Confident with Excel Strong EOM experience Clear communicator and a team player Interview process: First stage on Friday 16th October - we're moving quickly.
