We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Transport Leading Hand at our Sydney DistributionCenter (DC).

Key Responsibilities
As a Leading Hand, your responsibilities will include but not limitedtoo:
Supporting the shift supervisor to coordinate the team to meet the workplace output and productivity level required by the business
Working effectively individually without direct supervision
Responsible for accident investigation as well as fuel and storage procedures
Champion the Company policies and procedures to ensure team compliance
Ensure that tasks are allocated in a fair and timely manner to meet dispatch requirements for on-time deliveries
Maintain servicing records for Vehicles, MHE and other equipment as required
Restaurant deliveries& unloading stock at restaurants
Working in accordance with WHS requirements and ensuring their team do the same
Providing training to drivers as and when required
Undertaking additional tasks as directed
About You
Ability to lead a group and drive performance results
Effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable with a positive demeanour
A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage.




A current HC/ MC licence with a clean driving record is essential.
Forklift licence/first aid certificate would be an advantage
Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment background and medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
