BESIX Watpac is recruiting an Undergraduate or Graduate Planner in Brisbane to assist with the planning, organisation, co-ordination and implementation of construction programmes for both tender and live projects.
The work is programming rather than site supervision.
The holder supports the transition of tender schedules into delivery programmes once a project is awarded, then maintains and updates those programmes so that they stay accurate against project requirements, and monitors progress against them.
The post sits inside the contractor's graduate and early career development programme, a two year scheme that builds technical knowledge on the job and adds business and leadership training.
Graduates and cadets on the scheme move through several areas of project delivery and come together for workshops and networking.
The employer asks for a university level degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline, either completed recently or still in progress,

together with working knowledge of the usual office software and a willingness to learn recent packages.
Candidates still studying may attend lectures in work hours, up to one full day or two half days a week.
The advert is for a full time position and names benefits other than pay, including three additional leave days a year, a recognition programme and access to a wellbeing scheme.
No salary figure and no closing date are published.
The employer's reference is REF****C.
