## Key Responsibilities* Perform civil works to deliver the fibre lead-in pathway from pit to the customer's premises.
* Install and secure lead-in conduit, including trenching, boring, and wall penetrations where required.
* Conduct site assessments and determine optimal routes for conduit installation with minimal disruption.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and reinstatement requirements.
* Use tools such as trenchers, cable ploughs, core drills, vacuum excavators, and jackhammers as needed.
* Communicate with customers regarding site conditions and basic work expectations.
* Document site works, including photos, as-built sketches, and job completion records in specified internal systems.
* Support coordination with In-Home Connection team to ensure readiness for fibre activation.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite at all times.
## Requirements* Previous experience in telecommunications civil works, such as NBN,



Telstra, or private fibre lead-ins (highly desirable).
* Confidence with hand tools and small machinery for trenching and conduit installation.
* Ability to read and interpret site drawings, plans, and locate underground utilities (Dial Before You Dig).
* Valid Australian driver's licence and clean driving record.
* White Card (Construction Induction) required.
* First Aid ticket highly desirable.
* Practical, problem-solving attitude with a focus on customer impact and quality of work.
* Fit and able to work outdoors in diverse conditions.
