**About the role**We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team.
The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint or wallpaper, performing minor repairs, and ensuring high-quality finishes.
You will maintain tools, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with the team to complete projects on time.
Weekend and weekday availability is required as per business needs.
**Roles & Responsibilities*** Preparing surfaces by stripping old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks and holes, and sanding for a smooth finish.
* Mixing pigments, oils, and additives to achieve the required paint colour and consistency.
* Applying paint, varnish, and stains to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Hanging wallpaper, ensuring patterns align, and trimming excess edges.
* Setting up scaffolding and ladders, and covering surrounding areas with drop sheets to prevent paint splashes.
* Cleaning tools, equipment,



and workspaces after completing tasks.
* Repairing windows and replacing glass panes in metal or wooden frames if needed.
* Installing and repairing wall and floor tiles when required.

**Skills, experience and qualifications*** Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Painter* Must have a relevant Certificate III-level qualification.
