We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to become a key member of a growing and supportive team, with the ability to contribute directly to the company's continued growth, operational performance, and financial success.

VM Drillingwas established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organicallyto a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to10 Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:/n

- Monthly management reporting

/n

- Budgeting and forecasting

/n

- Cash flow management

/n

- Payroll oversight

/n





- Taxation compliance

/n

- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management

/n

- Asset and fleet reporting

/n

- Financial controls and governance

/n

- Business improvement initiatives

/n

About you/n

/n

- CPA or CA qualified

/n

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance role

/n

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and management reporting

/n

- Experience with Xero, Core Plan, Connecteam, and other accounting, ERP and payroll systems

/n

- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and leadership skills

/n

- A cooperative team player who can build strong relationships across the business

/n

- A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement
