Role Overview/n

/n

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineers to support the delivery, integration, and operation of secure, scalable, and resilient platforms that underpin critical national security systems.

Key Responsibilities/n

/n

/n

- Drive the adoption and maturity of Dev Ops practices, tooling, and platforms across ASD environments

/n

- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for applications, infrastructure, and databases

/n

- Implement and maintain observability capabilities including monitoring, logging, and alerting

/n

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure‑as‑code principles

/n

- Identify, assess, and mitigate release engineering and availability risks during planning and delivery

/n

- Improve developer productivity, release frequency, and operational outcomes through automation

/n

- Support secure build, integration, and deployment pipelines aligned to Defence security requirements

/n

- Plan, automate, test, and deploy database changes using controlled pipeline processes

/n

- Identify and implement process and tooling improvements across Dev Ops workflows

/n





- Provide senior technical guidance on integration, build, and deployment practices

/n

- Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures

/n

Requirements Required Skills & Experience/n

/n

/n

- Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or equivalent professional experience (5+ years)

/n

- Demonstrated senior‑level experience delivering Dev Ops and CI/CD solutions in complex environments

/n

- Robust experience with:/n

/n

- CI/CD pipeline design and automation

/n

- Infrastructure as Code and configuration management

/n

- Systems integration and build automation

/n

- Secure software development practices

/n

/n

- Proven ability to operate in high‑assurance / regulated environments

/n

- Experience contributing to or leading availability management, resilience, and disaster recovery practices

/n

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

/n

- Experience working in Defence, intelligence, or national security environments

/n

- Familiarity with SFIA‑aligned roles at Level 4–5

/n

- Experience supporting systems requiring accreditation, assurance, and operational resilience

/n

- Prior exposure to large, federated platforms or mission‑critical systems

/n
