We are seekinga Wintel Infrastructure Engineerto join a team supporting critical government environments. This will be a 12-month fixed-term contract with extension options, based inACT or VICand workingonsite. The role is suited to experienced Wintel professionals with a strong focus on enterprise infrastructure, cyber security and secure system administration.
What You’ll Do/n
/n
- Implement and maintain security controls across enterprise Wintel environments.
/n
- Support initiatives to uplift the security posture of Australian Government systems.
/n
- Develop and maintain SOPs, security procedures and administrative processes.
/n
- Participate in technical workshops focused on infrastructure design, security and remediation.
/n
- Prototype and test security configurations to support technical advice and recommendations.
/n
- Contribute to the implementation of Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
/n
- Automate system administration and vulnerability assessment tasks through scripting and application development.
/n
- Assist with identifying, assessing and remediating cyber security risks across enterprise environments.
/n
What You’ll Bring/n
/n
- Extensive technical cyber security experience,
ideally within enterprise environments.
/n
- Strong Wintel infrastructure experience with a focus on secure enterprise systems.
/n
- Demonstrated experience implementing one or more Essential Eightmitigation strategies.
/n
- Experience with scripting or application development to automate administration, vulnerability assessment or cyber security tasks.
/n
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWSis desirable.
/n
- Experience identifying and remediating risks associated with Active Directory compromisesis desirable.
/n
- Current NV2 or TSPV security clearance- this must be held at the time of submission.
/n
- Ability to work onsite inACT or VIC.
/n
