Jim Barry Wines is a family owned winery situated in the Clare Valley, focused on producing award winning estate grown Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet and Malbec.

/n

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced winemaker who is driven to be involved in producing iconic wines.

Responsibilities /n

/n

- Collaborate with Jim Barry's Senior Winemaker and the winemaking team to produce our wide range of premium Regional Wines.

/n

- Perform shift work over the vintage season.

/n

- Manage staff and oversee bottling operations.

/n

Qualifications /n

/n

- Completed tertiary qualification in Wine Science or equivalent experience.

/n

- Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.

/n

- Prepared to live in Clare.

/n

- Completed at least five vintages.

/n

- Bottling experience preferable.

/n

- Proven track record in managing both part time and full time staff to optimise efficiency and output.

/n

/n

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, passion for winemaking, and a willingness to go the extra yard to produce outstanding wines.
